Faculty Development Offerings
OTTL offers trainings and workshops as needed to support faculty as they navigate shifts in teaching modalities, learn new technologies and enhance their skills with D2L, Panopto and other tools. Watch , LIVE and our for these announcements
Teaching With Technology 2025
Registration is now open for our annual faculty development event! Teaching With Technology (TWT) sessions will be held Wednesdays June 18, 25 and July 2, 9, 16, 23.
We have a full slate of offerings with sessions in the following tracks:
- 鉁� Innovative Teaching Practices 鈥� Fresh strategies for engagement
- 馃 Artificial Intelligence 鈥� AI鈥檚 role in education
- 馃實 Accessibility & Inclusion 鈥� Creating a welcoming and compliant course
- 馃摫 Digital Tools & Trends 鈥� Emerging tech in education
- 馃捇 Online Teaching & Course Design 鈥� Best practices for digital learning
Sessions are open to all 麻豆传媒 full-time and adjunct faculty.
Hear from your colleagues on what they are doing when it comes to teaching and technology.
Earn the TWT 2025 Attendee Badge by attending at least three complete sessions over the course of the event.

Facilitating Learning Online (FLO)
FLO is a 3-week fully online, asynchronous course designed for instructors interested in teaching and/or developing an online course. OTTL is in the process of updating FLO with new material and resources to better reflect the current state of instructor experiences related to online teaching. We are also developing a FLO II for the more experienced online instructors. Stay tuned!

D2L BrightSpace Fusion 2025 - July 21-23, Savannah, GA
Those looking to start early to gain extra hands-on training can enjoy a full day of pre-conference training before the main conference program begins.
After a warm welcome from D2L CEO, John Baker to officially kick-off Fusion, there are two jam-packed days of sessions, demos, interactive activities and even more ways to learn and connect.
